Yesterday, we lost a true legend, Rob Burrow, whose incredible impact on and off the rugby field will forever be remembered. I’m not a Rugby Leage fan, but his story has led me to watch videos of him. What an inspiration on the field, 5ft, 5 inches and gliding around and under players like they weren’t there. His story and his passing brings back tough memories for me personally, as I watched my own nan deteriorate and pass away from this is truly devastating disease.I did shed a tear this morning as I watched his video of his past few years, which left me reflecting on the journey we went on as a family.Goin back to Rob, I vividly remember the moment his ex-teammate carried him over the finish line at the Leeds Marathon, a powerful symbol of friendship and support, which is no surprise based on the attitude he had before and during his personal battle. What I also reflected on is the title of his book, "Too Many Reasons to Live," which I believe serves as a profound reminder of his unwavering spirit and positive mindset, inspiring us all to practice gratitude and appreciate what we have in life. Rob Burrow's journey and resilience inspires and reminds me to embrace a mindset of thankfulness and gratitude. In a world often filled with challenges, his story encourages us to find and cherish the good in our lives. When did you last practice gratitude? If you have 9 minutes free, watch this powerful video as a reminder that time is precious and to be thankful for what we have.If you have only 2 minutes, then take a moment and honour Rob's legacy by reflecting on the reasons we have to be thankful…Rest in peace, Rob. You are an inspiration 🙌 #RobBurrow #MNDawareness #Gratitude #Inspiration

🌟 Believe in Yourself: The Power of Resilience 🌟In the world of sports, we often witness incredible displays of resilience that remind us of the power of belief in oneself.Recently, Shamar Joseph of the West Indies cricket team showcased remarkable determination during a crucial match against Australia. Despite enduring a toe-crushing yorker that left him injured, Joseph displayed unwavering grit. He not only returned to the field but also delivered a stellar performance, taking an astonishing 7 wickets. This remarkable feat serves as a powerful reminder that belief in oneself can fuel extraordinary achievements. Whether in sports or in our professional lives, setbacks are inevitable. However, it's how we respond to these challenges that defines our journey to success.Let's take inspiration from Shamar Joseph's story and remember that with resilience and self-belief, we can overcome any obstacle that comes our way.#BelieveInYourself #Resilience #Inspiration #ProfessionalGrowth #SuccessMindset

❤️**#TennisLessons from #TheLegendRogerFederer**😍#EffortlessIsMyth: Behind every smooth stroke & every perfect/master serve is a story of discipline, patience in the process, and a love #passion for the game that transcends every challenge.#LossesAreSteppingStones: Even when you work your hardest, defeat can still find you. Some losses sting deeply, like a series of six defeats in a row. They are the tough lessons that shape champions. Remember, perfection is an impossible pursuit. Roger won almost 80% of his matches & lost the rest. But each loss was a step towards his improvement, NOT a step back. #BounceBackFromEachFailures #TrustLoveTheProcess #EmbraceTheJourney: Because in the grand game of life, it's NOT just about the victories, but about the resilience we build along the way. #BeliefInYourselfToBeEarned #GritGift #DisciplineIsTalent #LifeIsBiggerThanTheCourt #Resilience #GrowthMindset #RogerFederer #MidweekMotivations❤️Folks Enjoy, Have A Wonderful Week & June Month Ahead ALL, have A #PositiveGrowthMindset #SuccessMindset #BalancedLifeWork #HolisticHealthMindset, filled with#GoodDiets #GoodHealthat mind body soul & heart levels for #AnExponentialGrowth😍👍🙏

Notice how Big Ange didn't allude to Romero's footballing abilities, but to his mentality as a player. The sheer fact that Ange felt the need to instil this same mindset into his other players speaks volumes of Romero's mindset. It then begs the question - what is a World Cup winner mentality? From what I can deduce, it is one with a never-say-die attitude. One with a strong will to succeed. One that does not give in or give up. Are Spurs players vulnerable, psychologically? Or do they just need that little nudge to make them title-challenger? Only time will tell. #psychologicalskills #sportpsychology #GTsnippets

The Game that everyone loves:❤Let's learn 6 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭:❤1. 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞:𝑳𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒏:Pressure is inevitable; managing it is a valuable skill.𝑬𝒙𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆: A batsman needs to score runs in the final overs of a close match. Their ability to stay calm, make calculated decisions, and execute shots under pressure determines success.2. 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:𝑳𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒏:Maintaining focus is vital for success.𝑬𝒙𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆: A fielder concentrates on the ball, anticipating its trajectory to make a successful catch. Similarly, focus is essential in tasks requiring attention to detail.3. 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬:𝑳𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒏:Acknowledge achievements and use setbacks as opportunities to improve.𝑬𝒙𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆: A team celebrates a victory but also conducts a post-match analysis after a loss, understanding what went wrong and planning for improvement.4. 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:𝑳𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒏:Success depends on the collective effort of a team. Co-ordinate and stay in harmony together for progressive results.𝑬𝒙𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆: At a time two batsmen are on the pitch. And if either one of them gets out, the team might lose the opportunity to secure a victory. Losing a key contributor in your team/company (similar to a batsman getting out) can hinder progress.5. 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲:𝑳𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒏:Life often throws unexpected challenges; being adaptable is crucial.𝑬𝒙𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆: A batsman adjusts their playing style based on the pitch conditions or the bowler they face, showcasing adaptability in response to the situation.6. 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠:𝑳𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒏:Strategic thinking is crucial in both cricket and life.𝑬𝒙𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆: A captain decides when to introduce a spinner, considering the match situation and the strengths/weaknesses of the opposition batsmen, showcasing strategic decision-making.𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 :)

There's a lot we can learn from the #Olympics, which I apply in my daily life as a #litigator. 1. Celebrating the wins of others takes nothing away from our own achievements. See US gymnasts Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles showing respect to Brazilian Rebeca Andrade with a spontaneous bow duirng the medal ceremony, see also Mondo Duplantis' competitors joining a stadium full of spectators to cheer him on during his world record attempt for the pole vault. I congratulate my opponents frequently on a job well done when they win. 2. Treating each other with respect and acknowledging each others' strengths not only creates an environment where everybody can thrive, it can spur each other on to even greater achievements. Competition can be a powerful motivator for personal growth across various fields and industries far beyond sports. The pursuit of excelleence is itself a deeply satisfying process of becoming the person person possible through the highs, lows and the challenges that come along with it. Ultimately, the reward for excellence is not only the medal, but the person one grows into and the relationships forged along the way. I encourage my young associates to push themselves hard, learn from others (even their opponents), so that they can become the best version of themselves. It's a hard slog. But it's an amazing journey. 3. Inspiration does not only manifest amongst the winners. There are competitors who come in 80th who still are heroes as their persistence to seeing the assignment through to the very end and never-say-die attitude, are life lessons to be kept close to heart. As litigators, we will lose. But we don't take it to heart, reflect, and make sure we do better the next time. It's a constant journey. Elite Phase Secured ✅•As I reflect back on phase 1 of the season before we kick off the elite phase against Shamrock Rovers at home Saturday, all I can say is this group have gone beyond expectations 🙌🏻•Last season starting off in the role we got to the final of the second tier which was brilliant and this year we brought in 15 new players with a 2 year plan to be in the elite phase year 2 due to the age of the players. Only 1 player from the current squad of 20 will be over age next year with 8 players having 2 years still at u17s. And yes after our brilliant win last weekend against unbeaten Waterford the girls have qualified for the elite phase 👏🏻•Incredible achievement for a group of players that are only getting started but the development of this group has been top and it’s all down to the attitude of the players and the brilliant staff I have around me. Not only have we got to the elite phase but 11 of the 20 players have already got called up to the u19s this season which is even more of an achievement for the squad and the club 🔝•The elite phase is going to be a massive challenge for us as coaches and players but the one thing we have told our players is we are going to work even harder now but we will continue to have fun and enjoy the whole journey ⚽️•#CRCoaching #corkcitywomensfc #soccer #team #elitephase #wnl #cantseecantbe #coach #coaching #development #hardwork #fun
