Yes! Starting small while garnering experience and self-building is the best approach, for some people it might just be volunteering for an internship in an organisation that interests them. The whole essence is preparing oneself for the bigger picture.Arslan Iqbal, I am a Customer Service Support Specialist, trained as a Virtual Assistant looking for an intern opportunity.

My Personal Advise to all the Beginner's here!I wanted to open up and share a little piece of my own journey as a beginner.Yes, you heard it right.Well, we're all beginners at some point in our lives.🌱I used to be a bit shy about not knowing everything about my field, and it held me back for a long time. Also, I've been there, feeling a bit lost on certain topics. But then, I realized at a point, I am not getting anywhere. M Stuck. And one day, I talked to my Team Lead. And I still remember word by word what He Said: It's completely fine not to know it all, especially when you're starting out. 🙌And then I experienced the magic that happens when I admit I don't know everything but something. When I started asking questions and seeking help, amazing things began to unfold. People who knew more than I did offered their support and knowledge. ❤️You see, even the giants we admire today, they all began as beginners too. They asked questions, learned, and grew into experts in their fields. So, my advice to you, my fellow beginners, is this: don't be shy about not having all the answers. Embrace your beginner status! 🙌 Ask questions, explore, and never stop learning. It's all for your own good, and you've got a world of support out here! Keep shining on your personal beginner's journey! You've got this, and I'm right here with you.DM If you have any question. #MyBeginnersJourney #LearningTogether #AskForHelp

DAY 1.Don't be afraid of becoming a BEGINNER. Again.Just like all humans are, none of us were born with things we already knew. From learning how to walk and run as a kid. Learning the alphabet, words, and constructing sentences and turning them into paragraphs. We learn as we grow. We accumulate knowledge and develop skills along the way. When we exercise our unique skills, – in music, sports, science, arts, etc. – remember that whatever you know right now and whether you’re good at it, we were all beginners at one point. After more than a month of being overwhelmed and discouraged; by gathering info & insights from others, stacking countless resources (while not knowing what to do with them), and contemplating with self-doubt as where to begin – not to mention working long hours on a full-time job 6x a week, – I have finally convinced myself that I CAN, – AGAIN – commit to learning a new skill.I broke down those info & insights from experienced people, applied only what is suitable to my preferred learning. I labeled & organized my resources, made a structure that is convenient in the long run as I progress. And most importantly, I finally created MY roadmap; a learning process aligned to my goals along with a realistic timeline that serves as a guide. Now, I can visualize the path I’m pursuing – ACTIVELY and INTENTIONALLY.Started my Day 1 last July 1, 2024.Excited to share more soon.

Dear friends and colleagues,We've launch our website! Check us out here:iteduconnect.com.It may need some fine tuning, "but perfection is the impediment to progress."I enjoy writing about the industry and IT related issues so I started a blog. It's slowly turned into a one stop shop to check out online-learning-platforms, read reviews, and really evaluate your IT skill learning needs. If you or someone you know is trying to break into the IT industry or just pick up some new skills for a lateral/upward move, send this along.I initially learned how to code with a few Udemy courses and YouTube videos. If I had a resource like ITEC available I think it would have cut my questions and imposter syndrome in half!Good luck!

Learning a new thing is hard … so most people give up halfway.Humans are hardwired to choose pleasure over pain. It’s a scientific fact. And so, this is our usual cycle of learning a new tool/strategy/software or what have you:↳ You hear rave reviews about it↳ Which makes you want to try it out↳ You start looking for courses or tutorials↳ You find one and begin learning, well-intentioned↳ Life gets in the way; you find you have less and less time↳ You abandon the course; while promising yourself “next week”But next week never comes around. The course sits untouched – gathering digital dust, somewhere on your laptop or phone.Rinse. Repeat. Until the next ‘new thing’ arrives and piques your curiosity. We’ve all done it. I’m guilty of it too.But I’m trying not to fall off the wagon, either. And so I’m happy to share the resources I’ve found and curated to learn and build my Notion:✨Notion Academy ✨Beginners tutorial✨Notion official guides✨Notion templates marketplaceI’ve linked them in the comments. Save these resources if you like – they’ll help you skip Step 3 above 😄#Learning #Strategy #Development #Growth**P.S. If you’ve used Notion before – I’m keen to hear from you! What learning resources have been valuable to you?
